I am grown up, with three grown-up children with children of their own, ie. I am a grandmother - and whoever wanted to date a grandmother when we were all teenagers and having fun?

Things have changed now, lots of water under lots of bridges, and I think it is time to look for a new man.

I am charming, intelligent, can be exciting; fun, attractive, blonde, outgoing, a good organiser, busy person, good cook, well-dressed, well-spoken, nice home. Probably quite an asset to a man and would like to feel a little more settled. I have a lovely little spaniel - the perfect doggy companion and we have lovely walks together. A man who would come with us would be wonderful.

I want and need an intelligent man, good conversationalist, knowledgeable about life and self-aware kind, thoughtful, considerate all that stuff, of course, but a bright on-the-ball and fun person above all. No-one with odd hang-ups need contact me, nor if they live too far away to be able to pop round for a coffee at short notice - I am in north west London.

When I had to write an 'Affirmation' - after some heart - and soul-searching - I managed to come up with:

'I am a gentle, caring and accepting person, happily sharing the essential me, with you.' I don't think I have achieved quite that, but I try.
