- Reunion June 2004 of some of our year-group - we don't mention which years we were actually at the school, but we all remember Miss Leach, Mrs Cronin, Mrs Johnson, Miss Richardson, Mrs Starr, Miss Greenfield, Miss Gawthrop, Miss Broad, Mrs Saunders, Miss Sinclair, Miss Rigg, Miss Fessell - please send more names in.

Old girls on boat
On a wet and windy day in 'flaming' June, twelve of us HBS old girls gathered at Westminster Pier. We cruised down the Thames to Greenwich, with an appropriate commentary from the Boat's on-board guide, and disembarked for lunch at 'the Yacht'.

We gossiped and chatted and ate and drank and laughed - and exchanged news about ourselves, our children and grandchildren and about other old girls. We went to 'the Trafalgar' for coffee and more chat, and then we got on another boat, back to Greenwich, and back on the tube, the train, the bus, etc. to our 'real' lives. But it's SO nice to see each other again - and everyone knows how old everyone else is! No hiding behind our youthful exteriors with our HBS contemporaries.......

 

Wendy Cashman and Joan Garrod (nee Ince) are our main organisers, and many thanks to them both for planning this excellent outing. See you all - and more, we hope - next year.
